On 6 June 2017, Marex Elektrostroj d.o.o. began the implementation of the EU project:
“Increasing international competitiveness and export through participation in international fairs”
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The title of the call for proposals: Internationalisation of SMEs K.K.03.2.1.07
Abstract:
Being aware of the fact that the development and long-term survival of a company depends on expansion into international markets, the company has decided to present itself, i.e. its products and services, to potential partners and clients by participating in international fairs.
Within the framework of the project “Increasing international competitiveness and export through participation in international fairs”, Marex Elektrostroj d.o.o. will participate in the world’s largest nautical fair, METSTRADE (2017 and 2018), which will lay the groundwork for an increase in export and total profit.
The business activities of Marex Elektrostroj rely indirectly on the tourism sector, particularly nautical tourism, therefore, exposure on the international market is a good step towards the company achieving its long-term existence and development.
The development of nautical tourism must be closely followed by the development of marina and harbour infrastructure, and it is precisely those that make up the company’s target market, since they need to adapt to global developments and constantly be in touch with new technologies, wishes and preferences of users, as well as to changes and trends on the global market in general.
High-quality products, trained employees, years of experience and the ability to adapt products to the wishes of clients is what guarantees success on international markets.
Expanding into international markets will require expansion of the production volume, which is something that Marex Elektrostroj d.o.o. can accomplish using its capacities of production and human resources.
An increased production volume will result in higher revenue and profit, which will be reinvested into the company’s growth and development, resulting in greater competitiveness of the company on both the national and international markets, as well as the achievement of the company’s main objective – long-term development and existence.
